Join us for an exclusive afternoon of art and creativity in the gardens of the iconic Dorothy G. Turkel House—Detroit’s only Frank Lloyd Wright-designed home! Hosted by Norm Silk and Dale Morgan, the gardens will be open to fellow artists and art enthusiasts for a relaxed and inspiring creative session surrounded by architectural and natural beauty.
Designed in 1955 by Frank Lloyd Wright, this Usonian Automatic design is one of the only seven built across the country and the only Wright home in the city of Detroit! This unique opportunity offers more than just a place to work - it’s a rare chance to create in one of Detroit’s most celebrated historic homes, normally closed to the public.
This event is open to artists of all levels. Bring your materials, enjoy the view, and spend the afternoon creating in community. Light food and beverages will be provided.
Space is limited – registration required. Please bring your own materials.
100% of ticket proceeds directly supports DAM.
Date & Time: Wednesday, July 30, 11am-3pm
