Sydney Frakes is a curator and the Creator/Director of Threads: The Art Exchange, a platform dedicated to artist development, creative consulting, and digital initiatives. Her curatorial approach is emotionally attuned, grounded in dialogue with artists and attentive to how a body of work unfolds over time. Through Threads, she works closely with artists to shape narrative, refine presentation, and build long-term visibility for their practice. She builds exhibitions as immersive, well-rounded environments, ones that invite viewers into active engagement rather than passive viewing, continuing to shape a curatorial practice rooted in process and connection.
